Continuous Monitoring of Temperature and Humidity
The paperless Hygrometer provides constant temperature/humidity monitoring without paper, pens or maintenance.
Temperature and humidity is sampled once every 5 seconds and an
average is stored in the memory of the display unit every 10
minutes. Over one year of history is stored and displayed.
The problems inherent in older mechanical hygrometers
are eliminated since there are no moving parts. The sensors stay in calibration for
long periods of time and are easily recalibrated with the
calibration table built into each sensor. Each Hygrometer has a password-protected
three point built-in calibration table so that adjustments can be made
during calibration.
Wireless Sensors
Forget about wiring your sensors to the display unit.
Just put the wireless sensors in the area where it makes the
most sense and mount the display unit on the wall in a central
location. The display unit can track up to four different
wireless sensors. Each Hygrometer can receive temperature and humidity data
from wireless sensors.
Range: 100 feet, clear line-of-sight.
Museums, Clean Rooms, Warehouses, Testing Labs, etc...
The Paperless Hygrometer is used in museums, computer rooms, clean rooms,
testing labs, laboratories, etc.. to provide accurate temperature/humidity monitoring.
The wireless sensors can be put in display cases, up in the
corner of a room or even inside an incubator. The display unit
has a metal enclosure so it can be
placed in high traffic areas without worrying about possible
damage from visitors.
Museums
The Hygrometer can be placed in display areas or even in
display cases to monitor the temperature and humidity.
Often the old type of mechanical hygrometer would be 'flicked'
by a visitor causing the instrument to no only stop working but
also to need recalibration. Visitors can not upset the recording mechanism
of this paperless Hygrometer because it is all digital. And the sensor pods are enclosed in a
small plastic box to protect them from inquisitive visitors.
Although there are buttons on the front of the display, visitors
can not get into the password-protected setup menus.

The data can easily be downloaded to a computer where charts or numeric
data can be printed
out to be sent or even emailed to lending institutions when required.
The hygrometer uses analog sensors to monitor the temperature and
humidity to insure that the readings it takes are accurate. But, the
analog readings are converted to a 24-bit digital number before being
transmitted to the display unit, to insure the complete accuracy of the
measurement.
The sensors do not need to be recalibrated frequently. If you have
been using a sling psychrometer to recalibrate the old drum type
hygrometers you can throw it away. If the sensors do need to be recalibrated
every adjustments can be made with the built in calibration table.
Testing Laboratories
Placing the Hygrometer in the testing areas insures that you
will have a complete record of temperature and humidity
conditions during testing. A chart of conditions during
testing can be printed out and included with the test results
also.
Warehouses
If you are storing inventory that is temperature and/or
humidity sensitive the Hygrometer is the perfect instrument for
protecting that inventory. High and low alarms can be set
for temperature and humidity to alert you if conditions every
become unsafe. If you are storing goods for a customer you
can print out or email a chart of conditions in the warehouse
each month for your records.
