Temperature/RH: ThermaViewer Versus the Other Guys
The biggest difference between the ThermaViewer and the other guys is:
- The number of sensors;
- Accuracy of the measurements;
- How far away the sensor can be positioned;
- The temperature/RH, pressure sensors;
- The amount of data displayed;
- The COST.
ThermaViewer Versus Chart Recorders
The biggest difference between the ThermaViewer® and conventional chart recorders is:
- The number of sensors;
- Accuracy of measurements;
- Whether data is stored or not;
- Ongoing expense of paper, pens, labor or maintenance;
- The amount of data displayed;
- Ease of reading the data display.
Other chart recorders with internal sensors are available from $ 300 - $ 400. All have only a single Temp/RH internal sensor. They do not have remote sensor inputs or alarm contacts. Some of the lower-cost chart recorders do not have 120VAC power adapters available and none can output to a computer. The TV2 ThermaViewer can be used with 4 temp/RH remote sensors, alarm contact, 120vac power adaptor, and can be output to a computer, making it a much better value than any of the above.
