The biggest difference between theViewer and the other guys is:

  1. The number of sensors;
  2. Accuracy of the measurements;
  3. How far away the sensor can be positioned;
  4. The temperature/RH sensors;
  5. The amount of data displayed;
  6. The COST.

Footnote:

Other recorders with internal sensors only are available from $ 300 - $ 400. All have only a single Temp/RH input. They do not have remote sensor inputs or alarm contacts. Some of the lower-cost chart recorders do not have 120VAC power adapters available and none can output to a computer. The ThermaViewer comes complete with 2 temp/RH remote sensors, alarm contact, 120vac power adaptor, and can be output to a computer, making it a much better value than any of the above.
