Documents & Monitors Temperature
The
ThermaViewer™
collects temperature, stores the data in its RAM memory and
displays a chart on the large LCD display of the current
and historical temperatures.
Used with one or two different sensors this temperature monitor collects,
stores and displays a temperature history so that you can monitor two different
rooms or a refrigerator and a freezer or an incubator and a
room etc... all with the same instrument.

Displays Temperature History
Traditional thermometers show only the current temperature but that is not
really enough. For a clear picture of temperature,
you must know what happened over time. For example, a
sudden dramatic jump in temperature means something completely
different than a long slow steady rise in temperature.
But if you only see the temperature at the high point, there
is no way to tell what actually happened. If you have a
temperature monitor that does not show a chart of the
temperature over time you are not getting the full picture.

See Months of Temperature History at a Glance
The ThermaViewer™
draws a chart on its display.
It is easy to see if the
temperature is in the middle of a trend, when it started, how high or low it got, and how long it lasted. And if the display you are
seeing doesn't show enough data, you can zoom out to see more
time - much more. You can literally see a year of temperature
history displayed on the screen at one time!
No Programming!
You don't need a computer to start the
ThermaViewer or see the collected data. Using the on-board menu system, you set
the date and time and it begins collecting temperature.
You can set the display parameters at any time; even change them
while collecting data.
Trace Mode
The trace mode of the
temperature monitor is used to highlight individual temperatures. For example, if you come in Monday morning and see a large temperature spike on Saturday night the 'Trace' mode can show when it started, how long it lasted, and when it ended.
Operates during power failures.

To keep your data safe there are two different backup batteries: A nine volt battery powers
the unit during a power outage, and a button cell battery preserves your data if the 9vdc runs out.
Downloads data to your network
Archive your temperature data with the TView program, which will
make a copy of the
ThermaViewer data on your computer.
A regular schedule of backing up your data insures that you always have a
copy of your ThermaViewer™
data. During the download, the TView program draws a chart on your computer screen
and saves a copy as a CSV file. Once the data is on your computer you can zoom-in for a
closer look or zoom-out to examine trends just like you can with the ThermaViewer.
You can also print out the graph, and even move it around with your mouse.
