The temperature data logger display.
This temperature data logger constantly
updates the display with a chart of over 44,000 data points for each of its 2 remote sensors.
If data is collected every 10 minutes; over 10
months of data will be stored and displayed. The versatile
display characteristics means that the data can be zoomed into
and out of, so that trends are highlighted or individual readings
can be pinpointed.
Setting the temperature data
logger display parameters.
You set the display parameters with the membrane
switch keyboard using the on-board password-protected menu
system. The display resolution is less then
0.1° so if you are monitoring and documenting a device which is
supposed to maintain 40°C you can set the display to show temperatures between 45°C and 38°C or between 80°C and -80°C or
even between 39°C and 41°C.
The temperature data logger
uses two remote sensors.
This data logger uses two remote sensors to
collect temperatures. Each sensor can be located over 100
feet away from the display unit. A twenty foot sensor
cable is included with each sensor but can be lengthened without
causing data loss. Digital, thermistor or thermocouple
(K-type) sensors can be
used to collect temperatures.
No computer needed.
There is no need to download the collected data
before you examine it. Everything can be seen on the LCD
panel of the unit
itself. All the logged data is displayed on the large LCD display
in multiple ways. The temperature data logger's time-temperature chart can be scrolled through, zoomed into and out-of to see individual readings or trends.
Downloading logged data to a
computer.
A download cable and computer software is
included with the temperature data logger so that you can copy
the data from the data logger to a computer. Stored data can
also be automatically downloaded to your computer or network for printing or archiving.
Once copied to a computer it can be displayed as a chart or as tabular data in Excel
