The easy freezer alarm's built-in buzzer begins to ring and the screen begins to flash whenever your safe temperatures are exceeded. An alarm menu is used to set the high and low points and delays. A relay, triggers a phone call on all alarm conditions.

Battery Backup
The Freezer Alarm normally operates on wall power. If wall power is interrupted the 9 volt battery takes over and continues to run the unit for up to 40 hours. All monitoring and logging and even alarms will continue to operate normally. The screen will go to sleep after 20 seconds, during power outages, to preserve the battery but this does not affect the collection of data or alarm.
