Protects Blood Products
The ThermaViewer is engineered for years of use. It alarms freezers where blood plasma is stored. Blood plasma is normally stored at -30° and must be maintained at that temperature. If the freezer begins to get too warm, it will dial 4 phone numbers immediately so they can take action to protect the blood plasma.
The ThermaViewer triggers an internal alarm, an auto dialer or external alarm (loud siren) if temperature moves out of your limits. It draws a temperature chart on the large LCD display so that maintenance can immediately see what has happened when they arrive after the notification. The temperature chart is also your documented proof that the blood plasma was stored at the proper temperature.
Auto Dialer or Local Alarm
The blood bank temperature alarm's relay triggers an auto dialer or loud siren and flashing strobe if temperature moves out of the user set conditions. You will be alerted no matter what time it is or where you are. The phone dialer calls four different phone numbers and deliver a 16 second message so that you can immediately respond to protect your inventory.
Easy-to-use Setup menus
Once the sensors are in place and the display in place you need only set the date and time and the alarm parameters. As soon as power is supplied to the display you will be prompted to set the date and time and then asked for the sensor alarm points. That is really all there is to setting it up. The dialer will need the phone numbers entered and plugged into the phone outlet. You will also need to record the message that the dialer will deliver when a phone call is made.
Computer Backup
The blood bank temperature alarm downloads to a computer through a serial port for archiving or to print a paper chart as proof that the freezer operated at the proper temperatures. We provide the computer interface program and cable.
Prints years of temperature history.
Keeps the auditors happy
Most certifying agencies now require a monitor on each freezer where blood plasma is
stored to document the temperature. The ThermaViewer satisfies this requirement perfectly.
The auditor can see the chart on the screen or you can printout
it out as a chart or as a list of the actual temperatures.
No Maintenance
The Blood Bank alarm continually monitors and documents the temperature, drawing a temperature chart on the large LCD display. It does not use paper charts or pens and requires no maintenance. The display requires no maintenance at all. This blood plasma freezer alarm operates 24/7.
